I quite enjoyed the life drawing class today. I felt i had improved since the previous week. We experimented with '3 line' drawing where you are only allowed to use three lines to convey the pose of the subject. I found this quite challenging but I see how it forces you to be more economical with your use of lines on the page and trying to capture the line of action and at the same time the position of said limb. We also used white chalk on black paper in a effect to capture the way in which the light fell on the subject. Below are photographs my attempts at these.
